The requirement for cost effective batch production and sophistocated quality control requirements are two factors driving design development in Fast Rescue Craft. Data Ship Systems has been through a series of development cycles in aluminum construction for both commercial and government customers. Many of the vesels built in the late 1980's are still in operation. Recent developments have seen these versatile high speed boats assume new roles in enforcement, patrol and airport rescue. Detailed computer models are one of the tools Data Ship Systems uses in both product development and production planning. The ability to visualize not only the vessel and it's detailed construction, but the actual assemble process as the pieces flow together to become the finished product are simply a requirement in today's heated, competetive international marketplace. |
