A series of this 17 Ft. (5.2 Metre) high speed aluminum utility boat was designed and constructed for the Canadian Coast Guard as an Lighthouse Keepers Tender for Great Lakes service. These sturdy but lightweight vessels are self bailing and excellent sea boats despite their small size. The step chine hull with fully tapered welded-on planing and spray strakes has been delivered up to 36 feet in length and is very economical to build in series construction. Power can be gas or diesel, outboard, inboard/outboard or water-jet propulsion.
